FAQs

The 2021 conference is taking place at The Wheeler Centre in Melbourne. The Wheeler Centre is located at 176 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, in the side of State Library Victoria between Swanston Street and Russell Street, opposite the QV shopping centre. For delegates unable to travel the conference will be live-streamed details HERE.

Due to Covid-19 the ABA has decided to run the 2021 conference as a hybrid event. This means we are planning on having both an in-person audience and an online audience. Delegates from anywhere will be able to watch the conference this year plus member booksellers will be able to attend in person.

Registration is now open, click on the registration page HERE for links and prices

Due to uncertainties about large in-person events we have put the ABA trade exhibition on hiatus for 2021.  Instead, we have a day of member-only Christmas publisher presentations on Tuesday 22nd June. Presenters and ABA members will be able to attend in person or virtually as we live stream from The Wheeler Centre.  Members can attend this day as part of the conference or as a single-day event.  The 2021 conference will still run even if there is a snap lockdown. We will be fully virtual should The Wheeler Centre not be able to host delegates in person.

Due to the uncertainty of travel in 2021, the ABA is not organising accommodation blocks for attending delegates. Delegates can book direct with our preferred nearby hotel via the accommodation page
